Perspectives In Place: A New Chapter

Place as a concept has always fascinated me.

It can be as concrete and as tangible as a physical location.

It can be as abstract and as sentimental as a feeling.

Perspectives In Place was born out of this curiosity; the byproduct of the ever-persistent questions I had in my mind about the relationships that people have with the places where they live, work, and play.

After being published in both The Georgia Straight and Spacing Magazine throughout 2024, we came to a realization: the best place for us to publish our stories was actually here, on our own website.

While we are incredibly grateful for these past platforms, we are even more grateful to have created a community - both online and in-person, where we can now share Perspectives In Place to its fullest, best potential.

We are so excited to share our stories, essays, interviews, and everything else in between, with you. 🖤🤍❤️🩷
